Literary Grants
Culturatti Kids provides students and public schools in need with resources that our schools often lack. Culturatti Kids reviews all Wish Lists and awards grants quarterly. That's it! No strings attached. It couldn't be easier. We only ask that you send a letter detailing exactly how funds were used and the impact it made to your students, school or classroom.
How We Are Able To Do This
Our parent company is Culturatti Ink, a small publishing house that produces books on different forms of culture and diversity. Culturatti Ink donates a large portion of the proceeds from specific books to help fund our literary programs and develop new ones.
We raise funds through our annual writing contest open to all students in the country. We host several retail fundraisers throughout the year and obtain individual and corporate donations.
How Our Grant Process Works
You submit a Wish List either online or by mail detailing your schools need and purpose by the specified deadline. The Wish List should be accompanied by a one-page essay (around 300 words) listing the amount being requested, purpose, the number of students that will be served, scope of project, and timeline, etc. (The essay is not required but will be helpful and weighed heavily when making our final determination of which schools gets funding and how much)
- Culturatti Kids will review your Wish List to ensure that your school, program and request fits within our eligibility requirements.
- Grants are awarded annually.
- Culturatti Kids will contact your school principal to notify him/her to the awarded grant.
- Within one month of fund receipt, you send us an email or letter acknowledging receipt of grant and report of how funds were or will be used. Although not required, we also enjoy reading comments from students who have benefited from Culturatti Kids.
